biography

Nuala O'Dea is a multidisciplinary artist and teacher based in Kildare, with a background in fine art and digital media. Her work draws on observational studies from landscapes and figures, exploring themes of individuality, family, boundaries, and environment. She works in a variety of media, including drawing, embroidery, glass, sculpture and printmaking. 
Grounded in everyday experience, her practice reflects a quiet engagement with personal and shared spaces. She has exhibited both in Ireland and internationally, including at the RHA and RUA annual exhibitions.
